Located in Downtown Sacramento, Taka’s Sushi had its beginnings in 1998 as a modest, neighborhood sushi restaurant. The restaurant’s owner is Benny Hom, who was also a co-owner of Taka’s when it first opened. In more recent years the Downtown area began to grow and thrive, and Taka’s Sushi did the same.

The fish is fresh and incredibly tasty! This sushi restaurant doesn't need to cover up their creations with a ton of sauce. Chefs Lou and Mike are fabulous!

From Taka's to Zen I have been a dedicated fan of this awesome sushi restaurant for years... borderline sushi stalker :)
No other can top Zen sushi's amazing menu and rockin chefs. Kudos to Mike and Lou!

Zen has a unique menu that will appeal to everyone. From spicy tuna to lightly tempurad city roll, Zen has something for each plate.

Zen Sushi makes incredibly delicious rolls (especially the Colleen and Veggie #1 rolls) and excellent miso soup, the staff is very friendly, and the atmosphere is hip without being pretentious.
