With a variety of travel experiences behind us, we found that we had each enjoyed different styles of the classic Pot Pie. When we returned to California and were unable to find anything comparable, the Z Pie concept was born in Placerville, CA. Yum! This place is great. Good reliable food and very friendly, very young servers who always try hard to please. They are also open on nights when others are not (Monday and Tuesday).
It is nice to know there is a ZPie within driving distance. I used to go to the ZPie in Auburn to get the BEST pot pie and was disappointed when I found one day they closed. I can say all the pies they have on their menu are outstanding - especially the apple. Worth the drive.
