William Glen was founded in 1963 by William Snyder and Glen Forbes. The enterprise began as a decorating studio and candle shop. As time marched on, so did the product mix. Gifts, decorative accessories, housewares, tabletop, and collectibles were added to create the premier specialty store that exists today.

One of my favorite stores filled with fun, whimsical and fabulous home decor. Sacramento has some wonderful shopping areas and the selection of stores is abundant. Although, William Glen is always my store of choice for the kitchen items that can't be found anywhere else. The staff is wonderful, and as a customer it is humbling that a staff will remember you from prior visits and will engage in not only helping you look for that special item, but is interested in you as the customer. Thank you William Glen for your grand style and wonderful staff.

It is absolutely invigorating to visit this shopping retreat. I always go knowing that they are highly likely to have what I want or order it immediately. But the most exciting part of shopping at William Glen is that when I go I know that I shall find something that I didn't know I "needed": treasure hunting!

best place to buy a wedding gift or Christmas items - they have great tools for the chef too. Staff is very knowledgeable and helpful and they give free gift wrapping
