Troy and Jeremy have been singing together since attending high school in Tracy. They were first introduced because their similar voices and mannerisms had friends asking if they were brothers. In 2006, after finishing up college in San Diego and moving back up north, they decided to form a band. Troy was one of the regional finalists for Nashville Star, where he met Johnny D of the Steel Horse Stampede. Troy and Jeremy opened up for the Stampede several times, performing acoustic sets. The addition of Steve (Bass) and Brad (Drums) layed a foundation for Whiskey Dawn. Then adding Mike on lead guitar and Dave on Fiddle and Mandolin made this band one of the most exciting lineups to ever come out of Northern California. As Steve says, they are true country brothers.
