I bought my mother's 70th birthday cake from Tanya. It was beautifully designed in fall colors and was a HUGE hit. Not only did it look great but it tasted as good as it looked. Very nice people.
Are you kidding? Not only beautiful, their cake creations are delectably delicious!If you've ever had to eat wedding cake, you know most of them look good but taste awful. These people move heaven and earth to make you feel like you are their only customer--even if you are calling the same day to order a small birthday cake. They always do their utmost to accomodate you. And the cakes are yummy! Worth every calorie!
The Village Cake shoppe has done all the recent cakes we have gotten for everything. They are awesome and every cake has it's own personal touch to it. They did my daughter's 2nd birthday and Jake made a 3d castle which my daughter loved. They are the best in town, and never have I had a complaint.
Highly recommended. I've lived in Elk Grove my whole life and my family has always boughten cakes from Village Cake Shoppe for special events. Patrick is truly talented and so creative! He can do anything and does it to perfection. You can design your own cake and he will make it happen. Not to mention the cakes are delicious! Highly recommend.

Patrick was amazing! He helped me design the wedding cake that matched the personality of us as a couple - complete with specially frosted paw prints to include our pets and specialty flavors of peanut butter and chocolate! We had my parent's 50th Anniversary cake done at Village Cake Shoppe. They made it just the way my mom wanted it...and used several different flavors of cake and filling. It was gorgeous and wonderful tasting.

Best tasting cake around. We tried every bakery in the greater sacramento area & nothing compared to them. The cake melts in your mouth, the service is on par, & guests are still talking about the cake!
