David was simply wonderful! He is not only a great DJ, but he was able to accomodate a last minute change (I was sitting in the chair getting my hair done before the wedding when I called him). He is so professional and can really read the crowd. Everyone had a fantastic time on the dance floor. His wife was also outstanding as a 'day of' wedding coordinator. When the coordinator at our venue was nowhere to be found, she came to get the bridal party organized for our grand entrance and also brought my starving husband a platter of some of the appetizers our guests were enjoying as well as a beer. She coordinated with us and David and had everything running smoothly during the reception. Together these two helped to make the reception one that our guests are still raving about! Thank you so much!!!

I really loved their cakes when we had our tasting, but hubby preferred another bakery for our actual wedding cake. However, I insisted that the cake for my shower came from Tarts and Truffles and it was wonderful!!! Thank you for a great cake to celebrate a great day with friends!

The rooms are very nice and the guests had a great time at our wedding, but it had more to do with the food we had and the additional vendors we used - NOT the staff at Arden Hills. They have a high turnover rate and either people don't talk to one another there, or they purposely use one set of staff to tell the bride and groom one thing and then try to pull a bait and switch later (after it is too late to get a refund on anything).
Before signing ANYTHING with them, be sure you read ALL the fine print. Hidden fees are everywhere, and while that may be true with most places, I had a particulary rude awakening to this fact. Get EVERYTHING in writing and don't let the sales staff tell you one thing without writing it down because you just may find out the day before the wedding that the service staff won't honor what the sales people told you.
Really do your research and wherever you decide to go, be sure the staff treats you with respect and understands how important your wedding day is. My feelings are that the staff here just see dollar signs when a wide eyed bride to be enters their front door.
They get 2 stars though because everyone said the dinner was great and they thought the reception location was very classy.
