I have been affiliated with this organization my entire life. My earliest memories with Galena, date back to when I was three years old. At age three I sang "You Are My Sunshine" on the stage for the first time. Ever since then, I have performed and traveled all over the world with Galena. Through song and dance, I have learned about other cultures and religions. However, the most important lessons came from the directors of this group and their philosophy of giving back to the community through your talents. The directors taught me to love and respect all people, regardless of their race, religion, or circumstance. I have learned more than just how to sing and dance. Being a member of Galena has molded me and shaped me into the person I am today. I want to pass on to my children, all that Galena has taught me and all that this group stands for.
