Osteria Fasulo is a magical restaurant nestled in the most beautiful community gardens. My fiancee and I have been coming to this restaurant for years, which consistently serves amazing food in a very intimate setting. The owner is charming and friendly, truly treating his guests as friends. He had always told us if there was something we missed from a different seasonal menu that they could make it for us if we called ahead. In December, my fiancee called in a menu request made up of our favorites from years gone by. I don't think a single dish was actually on the current menu, but they accommodated us graciously (and of course it didn't hurt that I also got a marriage proposal that night). Personal associations aside, this restaurant is well worth the drive and the price. Plan on a long meal and wander through the gardens between courses.
