I have been a customer of Rods for 6 years. I do most of my own work; hoses, filters, brakes, oil, belts, wires&plugs, the usual maintenance that doesn't require a lot of special equipment.
I needed a place that would service my car the way I do. Get the job done right the first time, don't break other things in the process, (not meant as a joke) and do it at a good price! Rod exceeds all this. Often I take my cars to him when it just doesn't pay for me to do it myself. He offers his customers good discounts on this stuff. His quotes are low enough and the service is so fast I have a hard time justifying doing it myself. Being an engineer I always question everything! :) The more technical problems are not an issue since his staff are well trained and they have no issue with explaining the reasoning behind their diagnosis.
