Nominated for: BEST Local Bands
After completing their highly successful debut EP “Between Lies and Melodies” in 2007 with producer Tomas Costanza (Diffuser), Track Fighter made the rounds on the indie circuit traveling throughout the western United States, gaining new fans and earning quite a reputation. With a stint on the Warped Tour under their belt, Track Fighter made an appearance on the Taste of Chaos Tour, and a co-headlining slot on the Twisted Christmas tour featuring My Chemical Romance and Papa Roach. They have shared the stage with acts such as Atreyu, Deftones, Story of the Year, Thrice, Dredge, and many more.
In 2008, battle tested and ready to take things to the next level, Track Fighter was recruited by legendary record producer Beau Hill (Bob Dylan, Ratt, Warrant, Winger, Roger Daltrey, co-founder of Interscope Records) to cultivate a mainstream sound for their follow-up LP “Band Aids for Bullet Wounds,” released in February 2009 on Itunes, Amazon.com, Rhapsody & Napster. Chock full of hits, “Band Aids for Bullet Wounds” has already received airplay from major radio stations throughout the nation, proving that the band's diverse sound can transcend genres and still pack a mean punch.
Featuring the powerhouse vocals of TJ Chopelas, and the masterful guitar playing / song writing of Dean Jordan, Track Fighter has earned the reputation for producing well crafted mainstream singles backed by an incredible live performance. From the steady rhythm guitar of Mike House, the precision and tactful low end from Greg Culler on bass, and the dynamic chops of Jeffrey Wathen on drums, Track Fighter hopes to encompass the most sonically aspiring music to create a sound and realization of their own.
2009 promises to be the coming out party for this sleeping giant.
The revolution starts now!
