This is a very special Halau, and I am proud to be part of. Our Kumu Juni, is a stong and wise teacher, that I am proud to have as my Kumu. When I dance Hula, I feel closer to my late grandma Petra and late grandpa Sim. They had their children in Hawaii, and they always had me to the hula, no lessons, but they showed me by their hands, and hips. Hula is love, and so is The Women of Halau Ka Waikahe Lani Mailie & The Men of the Halau Kahulaliwai.
