The Coffee Garden is THE best place to go for coffee in Sacramento! It's inviting, the coffe and eats are great, and the people are wonderful. It has all of the warmth that's missing from other coffee houses, and the garden can't be beat in the summer. Go there!

If this was a bar, it would be Cheers, the place where everyone knows your name. I discovered the Coffee Garden when I was meeting with Sacramento Poet Laureate Julia Connor to design her website. Now, I can't imagine hanging anywhere else and it's the place where I will have written most of my new novel (the one out now is "The Tumultuous Times of Jesus in the 21st Century": www.cawriter.com). The owner Mike has become a friend and the staff is always helpful and charming. A great place!
