Well, to begin with I BELONG TO IT!!!! A friend took me to the Hearst exhibit (because we lived at Hearst Castle when it was FIRST a State Park--I was married to a State Park Ranger). I just fell in love with that Museuem. Believe me, I've seen LOTS of museums and this is NO average one! It isn't 'dusty' it isn't 'boring'...it's just informative! I take friends alot---don't know if anyone has joined, but they do LOVE the adventure! A friend of mine, from Oroville/Yuba City, brought info her Mom had on Amelia Airhart (sp?), whom she flew wtih---that was good info. & copied! We're trying to get her older brother down there with more info, as was suggested by your staff! I ALWAYS love that place! I think "Maria" has done alot to 'charge it up'....but she is 'quite a woman'......and I'm NOT a Democrat! lol Keep up the great work! We'll all be back again!!!!!!!!!

Being pushed in with Maria to get a photo with her on the 12th, and listening to her speech was truly a wonderful time. And the new exhibit of Hearst Castle was just so gorgeous there is no other word. Thank you C. for inviting us! And I recommend everyone to go see the new exhibit and the rest of the wonderful CALIFORNIA MUSEUM FOR HISTORY, WOMEN, AND THE ARTS!!!! --- GOV

The Time Remembrance Program educates hundreds of students and teachers about the internment of Japanese Americans during WWII. Excellent exhibit and educational program using volunteers and museum staff.
