The Bird Shop; founded on St. Patrick’s Day 1979 as an independent, family-operated, specialty bird store, takes pride in keeping up with the latest information to improve the life of your bird. We have birds from Amazons to Zebras, food, toys, cages, and more. The Bird Shop has a gift section “for bird lover’s only” including t-shirts, mugs, jewelry etc. We have a baby bird nursery where we raise some of our own babies. You can watch them grow! Come by and bring the family. It’s a fun place to visit.
Few month's ago I went to the Bird Shop to buy some birds, the staff at THE Bird Shop. They were so friendly and making you familiar with different things about the birds, even now whenever go and buy different supplys for the birds they are happy to help you. NOT LIKE AT OTHER pet supplie stores, that they are there to help you only for the families. At The Bird Shop the staff cares and about the Birds and about the client's.
Everyone who works at The Bird Shop is friendly, knowledgable and fully engaged in providing excellent service for their customers. I have never been in a pet store where I felt this welcomed and supported as a pet owner. The Bird Shop is Top Notch!
I shop at The Bird Shop. They everything you need for birds. The have a large selection of toys,food, books and cages. Their employees are always helpful, friendly and very courteous.
The Bird Shop is the only pet store that truly cares about your pet (bird). The staff is knowledgeable, friendly and welcoming. I utilize their boarding facilities often and they are the only ones I trust to leave my precious Peaches with. They honestly care! They are the BEST!
We drive from Vacaville to The Bird Shop to get our lovebirds wings & nails clipped every few months and always enjoy selecting a few new toys and food supplies. It's difficult to find such a wide selection of both, especially for smaller birds. This store is a treasure.

The Bird Shop is THE BEST place in Northern California to shop for any thing you could ever want for your birds, and also to buy especially sweet baby birds. The family and the staff are knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. Thanks for being there for us!

The Bird Shop is one of a kind. They care about each and every bird and make sure the new owner understands the needs of the bird they choose to adopt. This insures a good match for a long term commitment. I don't know any pet store that goes through that much trouble. The staff is always willing to answer any questions and offer suggestions to any bird owner regardless weather they purchased their bird from the store or not. The store is spotless and the birds are healthy and well cared for! The boarding facility is a plus. You know your bird will get the best care should you need to go out of town or on vacation. FANTASTIC!
Everyone in the Bird Shop is very Friendly and knowledgeable. We have been using their services for 14 years it's ALWAYS been Great. Their boarding services and wing and nail trimming
are great because they take care of your bird as if it were their own. They always have the supplies and food we need or are recommended by our Vet.

The Bird Shop owners and staff show the love they have for animals in everything they do, from their kind courteous service, to the sweet lovable hand-raised baby birds they offer for sale, but mostly in the way they keep their bird's cages impeccably clean and filled with fresh food and water. Unlike ANY other pet store in Sacramento.

We have been going to The Bird Shop since it opened it's doors and have always been given great customer service. There is always a great selection of food, toys and cages for our feathered family members. The store is always clean and the birds are well fed and taken care of. You cannot say that about many shops that sell pets.
