Established in the late 1900's , we occupy a huge corner building with a small garden area that leads to another 1000 sq foot store ( called TAC ) that contains our Mid Century collection . New containers from England and France every 2 - 3 months .
If you live in Sacramento or the bay area and you haven't paid a visit to The Antique Company, then you have truly missed out. Every time I visit from the UK I am always astounded by the volume of previously enjoyed goods. Nestled near to the interstate it provides the perfect opportunity for people to visit, no matter where they've come from. Come for the antiques. But stay for the ambiance.
This unique store filled to the brim with a cornucopia of well priced antiques, collectibles and memorabilia is not to be missed! Steve has turned 21st & X in to a destination point for those of us looking for just the right piece at just the right price. And, there is always witty conversation with the helpful and knowledgeable crew in the big blue building.
Whenever I visit Sacramento, The Antique Company, is tops on my list for places to visit. They have beautiful inventory and are constantly bring in things from Europe. I enjoy the variety of price, quality and uniqueness. The staff is friendly, knowledgable and extremely helpful. Steve the owner has a wonderful sense of what people want. Living in San Francisco makes me realize what a gem The Antique Company is.
If you haven't been to "The Antique Company" store, you are missing out on an adventurous trip. Coupled with the items it has and the personality & attitudes of the staff you are in for a treat. When you do go, be sure to bring your personality and not your entire savings account. The entertainment is free and the items are very inexpensive. Great Prices!!!!!
The Antique Company is one of the most fun places to shop in Sacramento. There is always something new arriving and the email newsletter is always interesting. There are so many unique gifts and the prices are very reasonable. It is always fun introducing friends and family to this store.

This is the kind of business you really need to experience to understand why I love this store. The prices are so competitive and reasonable. The owner's knowledge about antiques, especially English antiques, is amazing. I speak from experience, everyone has to experience this place.
