Best in Woodland? No question! And we drive from Davis as often as we can indulge ourselves. The food is imaginative, wonderfully fresh and a terrific value. And the affogato is the perfect combination of dessert and coffee after a generous meal, even though all the desserts are great.
Tazzina is me and my wifes favorite restaurant in Yolo County. Rebecca does a great job changing up the menu and keeping everything fresh and local. The full bar has added a great vibe to downtown Woodland. Wild Wings guy!

This place has some stuff on the menu I didnt even know what it was. Usually you go out to a place and you ask the server a question and they dont what your asking. The server could answer every question I had and the food was the BOMB! Try it out, even if its in Woodland
The Bistro is by far the nicest bar in Woodland and great cocktails with cute glasses. LOVE the Blue lemon drop!
If you go try the Queso with chorizo dip with their housemade chips! YUMMY I think they even do a 1/2 priced wine night on wednesdays and CHEAP martinis with premium wells on fridays
I LOVE Tazzina Bistro!!! My husband and I go there at least once a month. It has the best food in the area. The menu changes giving fresh variety and yummy dishes every few months. I tell everyone I can about this wonderful place. The drinks are fantastic too!! The Zundap is my favorite!
My wife and I enjoy Tazzina's regularly. Usually have a drink or two and split one of the chef's specials on a Thursday evening. (Last night we had Rock cod with butter/caper sauce with polenta and green beans, everything was delicious) Excellent food and great service.
My boyfriend took me to the bistro for New Years eve. Their special menu was to die for! Ive never had such a good soufle.
Now me and a bunch of gals go there for Happy hour on fridays for a $5 dollar martini. holla
My wife and I love the Tazzina Bistro. We go quite often for dinner and my wife for lunch. The food and service are always excellent. You must have a dessert or you will have missed out on a great finishing touch to your dining experience. Their special menus for New Years, Valentines Day, etc... are fantastic.
What an extremely charming find. I travel up and down the I-5 interstate and its hard to find a nice place to eat right off the freeway that isnt a chain food establishment. This place was friendly, great food, and I was amazed at all the ecclectic artwork. I will most certainly be stopping here again on my travels through the area.
What can I say about Tazzina Bistro? It is definitely the best restaurant in Woodland, and probably better than many in Sacramento. Tazzina Bistro has a an extensively stocked bar, wonderful historic atmosphere, excellent seasonal menus, wonderful soups daily, unmatched service, fantastic specials including Thursday night specials inspired by Julia Child, excellent wine list, decorations to reflect the time of year...etc.etc.etc...If you haven't made it to this GEM in Woodland, California, take the trip and I promise you,...you won't be dissapointed.
My wife and I dine at Tazinna's often. In our opinion, it is at the top of the list for great food and excellent service. Interesting ambiance because the building which houses the restaturant dates back to early times in Woodland. We both consider Tazinna's #1.
