Story Winery... Beautiful surroundings? Of course- it's the Shenandoah Valley. Great people? How many dolts have you met owning a gucci winery? Bruce and Jan set the bar for gracious, knowledgable and approachable. With them, we're family. So far, so good. But, let's face it, we're here for world class wine. I recommend you drive to the end of Bell Road's wineries ... They've clearly saved the best wine for last! You'll never taste a Zin like those Bruce and Jan craft. All of the wines and people at Story Winery are great! I have not had a bad wine there! I am shocked that they are not higher in the standings with everything there being so good.

Very good wine and people. Story has the best zinfidel wine in a great area for zin. It is the best view and people in Amador county

Their Zin and rasberry champagne are the best in the valley. The staff are warm and personable, and their have one older gentleman that greets the public with his old jokes. He makes you want to stay forever
