Im in my 40's and have been shopping at Skips Music since I was 18 years old..
The staff and crew have been nothing but great to me .. The coolest gear,and they rent as well - which has helped me out of several tight spots when something is broken and you need a quick fix for a gig--My son now takes lessons there and is now Two generations of Skips Music shoppers--We love this store-You wont find service like this anywhere else in California,also I was in Stairway to stardom when I was 18 and this year my son will be in it..Two generations of Stairway-Only a true music hero Like Skip could keep music in your family--Thanks Skips Music you Rock!!!!!!

I bought my grandson a new guitar for Christmas, and the sales person went above and beyond to help me get the exact one I wanted, He had to order it from another store, called me when it arrived, and when I went to pick it up, he tuned it, helped me find the best value on a case for it, There entire staff was very knowledgeable, and very nice, and they go out of their way to help you

I am 32, from Sacramento and i have played the drums since i was five. My father has alot of friends in music groups, (mcnasty,tower of power). So needless to say i have spent a lot of time @ music stores. i must say skips has the best selection and prices. There repair services are fast and the workmanship is outstanding. i know people who have shopped with them since they were on Florin rd.
