For 22 years, River City Theatre Company has been providing young people with the opportunity to develop skills, self-confidence and self-esteem through learning all aspects of musical theater in a positive supportive workshop environment. RCTC's mission is also to produce affordable family entertainment as well as cultivate community interest and support for live musical theater.

Great institution for kids from age 5 to high school seniors! Amazing productions twice a year that really amaze the audience.

This company is special for many reasons. The productions are top-notch, and the directors are veterans in the field of musical theater. River City Theatre Company accommodates children all kinds including children from low-income families (they do offer scholarships for eligible families) and children who have special needs and/or handicapped in someway. I know for a fact how vital it is for handicapped children to be exposed the arts, and RCTC does an amazing job of that. River City Theatre Company is definitely one of the top theater groups in the Sacramento Area!
