This is a great neighborhood mexican restaurant. We stop here after golfing. The food is delicious. They make the best chile rellenos, and lime and cilantro rice. Mark and Sandi

Everytime I come I order a large carne Asada burrito, ooooooooooh my gosh is the best thing I have ever eaten!!!!!!!!!

this place is top notch owner is there always best mex food i have ever had ,,so good infact we eat there at least twice a week

I am shocked more people do not know about this place. Rey Azteca always has wonderful food and people. We usually go at least a couple of times a month. Very relaxed, authentic, consistent, fair prices. I never think of a different Mex place to hit. We always choose to come back here.

If you enjoy a good, down to earth place to eat great food, not get overly charged and watch a game or feel you can go dressed anyway you are at that moment...Rey Azteca, IS that place. I have never been disappointed in a meal. The chips are always fresh and hot. The salsa bar is just wonderful. Great Carmichael spot to wander into and feel at home.

Hey... this is a terrific place to eat !! Ismael has done great things since taking over this restaurant. The food is delicious, the prices are great, and hey, they make their own salsa and chips every day !! I'm a huge fan of Ernesto's, but this is every bit as good, and it's in the north area.

I LOVE Rey Azteca. After moving to Carmichael from the Antelope area I was missing the place we frequented in that area. We decided to pop into Rey and we go back every week. Always very friendly, clean, quick, good value , great food. Their burrito bar is a fab cheap but filling lunch choice and the BEST chips and salsa in town.
