Taste, Amador County’s highly acclaimed restaurant is located on Main St. in Plymouth. Taste features a seasonal menu, expansive beer selection and wines that represent the foothills and regions from around the globe.
Dinner is served Thursday – Monday. Every Monday Taste offers a three-course prix fixe menu priced under $30 in addition to the regular menu.

Not only does Restaurant Taste have THE best menu, food and presentation, the proprietors and staff go out of their way to make your dining experience one you will always remember!! This is the one place I've ever extravagantly tipped - it was well deserving!! In Amador County, do NOT miss this place! If not in Amador County, go there!

Taste is the jewel of Amador County. It is the ONLY restaurant I recommend to friends and visitors. Everything is fresh and delicious. the staff is friendly and efficient. Great wines also!

Big or Small Taste's, it's exquisite! The wine list is very well selected. Chef Mark and Tracey have always been great hosts and know how to do things right. One of our favorite restaurants in the area especially for birthdays and anniversaries!! Location for a great dinner after wine tasting in Amador County wine country.

Such an amazing restaurant it makes you feel like your on vacation enjoying an amazing meal in some great city...rather than steps from Amador's wine country. It is a wonderful treat. Good food, good people, beautiful place.

Taste is absoulutely in my top 5 restaurants in all of sacramento! The Chef's and managers of this restaurant deserve a tremoundous amount of accolades for what they've created for diners. A truly magical experience! Any wine tasting in the region MUST be topped of with a dinner at Taste before finishing the night.

Excellent cuisine. Excellent presentation. Well trained servers who are excellent at recommendations and pairings. Peaceful, elegant ambiance. Exceptional experience, well worth the cost, a destination experience. Definitely a plus for the area of Plymouth! Do a winery tour and finish your day with an exceptional dining experience!!!
