Taste, Amador County's highly acclaimed restaurant is located on Main St. in Plymouth. Taste features a seasonal menu, expansive beer selection and wines that represent the foothills and regions from around the globe.
Dinner is served Thursday – Monday. Every Monday Taste offers a three-course prix fixe menu priced under $30 in addition to the regular menu.

The food is inovative & delicious!! Somthing not expected in a little town like Plymouth. The staff is lovely and helpful, and the atmosphere is great for everyone, from family gatherings to a romantic dinner date. (I wouldn't bring small children unless they were very well behaved and well versed in restaurant "manners" just for the sake of the other diners. It is a small room!

Best menu items, reasonably priced. Monday night Pre-Fix is the greatest. Chef Mark is a magician in the kitchen. Staff is great and friendly without being intrustive.

The food is excellent! The staff all go out of their way to make everyone feel welcome and comfortable. They also know how to describe the meals as they sample the specials before the restaurant opens. A very pleasant atmosphere and a nice surprise in the middle of Plymouth surrounded by wine country!

The food was out of this world, i have to say we eat at the so called NEW HORSE SHOE BAR@ GRILL AND THE NEW COOK OVER THEIR COULD NEVER EVER COME CLOSE (PRETTY SAD )
I WILL TELL ALL THE PEOPLE WE KNOW TO STOP THE NOT SO GOOD FOOD AT THE HORSE SHOE AND COME TO YOUR GREAT RESTAURANT THANKS
