Redbud is a family owned California style bistro located in the foothills right off the Hwy 50 corridor at Cameron Park Drive. The chef has created a menu that is prepared fresh daily using the finest of ingredients. The wine bar offers 60 wines by the glass (local wines as well as well as imported) and highlights small, exceptional boutique wineries.

I took six of my mother's friends for lunch with my mother for her 102nd birthday on March 25. The employees of the Redbud Cafe were exceptionally considerate and pleasant. The food was excellent and the service was great. The owner/manager made sure that everything went smoothly for this very special birthday celebration. We highly recommend this restaurant.

My husband and I enjoy Redbud everytime we eat there. The menu is fantastic and always consistant. The chef only uses the most freshes produce and seafood. Also, the meat is always top quality. I have never had a bad meal at Redbud nor a bad glass of wine to compliment my meal.

Food is fresh and light, current but not trend driven. Very stylish and california influenced. Great local wine selection, personal touch, chef visits and shows he cares. Service is good, wait staff well trained, pleasant and knowledgeable. Fanaistic weine maker dinners. good desserts, love the sweetbreads when they have them. Never a bad meal in over 15 visits.

We love the Redbud Cafe and eat there frequently, Chef Gabe and his staff offer the finest of California cuisine and their pastry chef, Janika, is a young culinary genius. The monthly "Prix Fix" multi course dinners, usual hosted by a local vintner, are amazing. The entrees are beyond description. Goog Eats !!!!!
