Voting Home / Pine Cove Tavern
Nominated for: BEST Sports Bar
In 1953, David Mahan opened the Pine Cove Tavern on the Northeast corner of 29th and E Street. His goal was to create a cozy neighborhood Tavern, serving the finest in mixed drinks where couples could come to enjoy each other. He succeeded. In 1963, the Pine Cove Tavern moved to its present location, when Highway 80 was built.
Loving the open mic nights and the battle of the musicians. I know that when i head out to the pine cove i can see some great artists out there just having fun! By far the most welcoming bar ive been to, and i love the popcorn at the end of the night ha ha ha
