Pets To Go opened its doors in Sacramento in 1986. The store has grown over the years, and in 1996 moved a few miles down the road to Elk Grove, California. Our store caters to animal lovers of all types. We sell supplies for dogs, cats, birds, fish and reptiles. We also sell rabbits, guinea pigs, rats, hamsters, birds, fish, and reptiles. Our store also provides the only self-service dog wash facility in Elk Grove.
The staff is both friendly and professional. They are very knowledgable. There is a great selection of products available for a full range of pets--from insects, reptiles, birds, to their larger pals, cats and dogs. I like the community-feel I get when I go there. When you go to places like Petco and other box stores, you feel like just a number. At Pets To Go you are treated as a valued customer.
They have very freindly staff, excellent customer service. When I take my lab there to have a bath, they are extremely accommodating and their own animals that hang out in the store are loveable. I am happier doing business with a small place vs. a big store. Excellent prices and products. THANK YOU PETS TO GO!

My family and I have been going to Pets to Go for a long time and it is the BEST pet store. The workers are very nice and really truly know what they are talking about. We had friends of ours that bought a turtle from another pet store, only to find out that the turtle had been sold to them sick and the other pet store had told them to feed them the wrong thing. They brought the turtle to Pets to Go and they helped out so much, their turtle was better in no time! They are careful with their animals and have wonderful service. There is no better place than Pets to Go!!!
I haven't met the owner, Jeremy, personally but I know for a fact the he knows how to take good care of his employees, knows how to appreciate their services. I should know, my daughter works for him and she talks very highly of him.
We have been going to Pets to Go for years and you can't find the same personal, knowledgable service at the "Big Box" pet stores. The knowledge base of their staff is very broad from dog feeding issues to the right temperature for the cage of a pet snake. Jeremy and Angel truly care about each individual customer and their pets with a level of service that is hard to find. I have seen Jeremy give his undivided attention to everyone from an adult making a large purchase to a heartbroken child with a sick lizard. It is that kind of caring and attention keeps us coming back!
Our family likes to support local business. The staff is very friendly including the resident canines and felines! Our vet wanted to know what brand of food we use-he said our mini doxie has a show coat and our large pound puppy 's skin problems have disappeared since we started using the dog food the staff at Pets To Go suggested.

Such personalized service by the staff and the owners Jeremy and Angel. No matter what my needs are they come through for me. They offer the best pet food available at reasonable prices. They even lift the heavy bags of food to my car!!!
