We teach communication skills and directional control, strong weave poles and contacts and proper jumping skills. Nola is an AHBA herding judge and is familiar with many breeds of herding dogs. Nola now offers Doggie Daycare.
I like going to PDIA because I have such a good time there with my friend and teacher, Nola. I am learning agility along with my human. Thank you Nola for providing such a such safe and caring atmophere. Love, Alaska
2008 is going to be an exciting year at PDIA. A new doc has been added to the pond for Doc Diving. PDIA will again host DOCNA (agility venue) trials. Rally and Obedience training is going strong. And a new program - "New Leash on Life" is debuting in April. In May there will be a "Cinco dog Mayo" celebration and a grand opening for "lure coursing". Check out the PDIA website for dates.
My two dogs love Nola and her facility so much that they cry at the end of the day when I take them home. She clearly loves my dogs while they are in her care as if they were her own. It's there home away from home!
I own The Right Steps Dog Training Facility in Orangevale, CA. My puppy and I take are taking Agility Lessons from Nola. She has created a great environment for learning. It is a very positive and fun training environment with a knowledgeable Trainer, whether you have a goal to do just for fun or to become competitive in the sports offered. For my Students looking for fun sports to look into with their dogs I point in their direction :o)
This place is awesome, for both my dog and I. Trainers, Nola and Kevin, are fantastic and fun to work with. Bandit and I have been faithful followers for over 2 1/2 years!
She's given my young border collie the best gift in the world!!! Life. So many herding dogs and other active breeds get put in shelters everyday and are destroyed because there aren't more places like Performance Dogs in Action!!! Nola (The owner of Performance Dogs) is an AMAZING dog trainer and an inspiration to positive dog trainers throughout the Sacramento area. Her knowledge, patience and understanding save dogs' lives and people's furniture (cause their dog is too tired to chew on it!)
Nola's business keeps dogs from being put in shelters and killed by keeping them busy and educating dog owners on the best way to care for their active breeds!
They provide a fun and safe environment for all ages and abilities of dogs and humans to learn to play and interact with each other in a variety of ways.
I really enjoy PDIA (Performance Dogs In Action) because the owner Nola Jones offers a real, nice, and fun down home atmosphere that everyone enjoys. Everyone is family there and anyone can join no matter what level of obedience, agility, or herding you are at. In the winter she has bond fires to help keep us warm in between runs. You become part of her family real quick. Everyone should come out to Pleasant Grove and check her out.
Nola does it all! Herding & agility lessons for all kinds of dogs. She sure has made a difference in my border collie's confidence. When she's not busy training, Nola & her dogs helping out in the community, including Kiwanis camp, State Fair, Scottish Games just to name a few...she's amazing!!
