After 27 years in the "Old Barn" in Davis, California, the Palms Playhouse moved to its new location at the Winters Opera House in Winters, California. We believe that the Opera House offers the same off-beat intimacy that The Palms is know for and it continues to offer an eclectic concert setting for some of the world's finest performers and musicians. The new Palms seats 220, with first-come-first-served seating. It has a dance floor, bar, large modern rest rooms along with heating and air conditioning.
I grew up at the Palms in Davis and the Winters location fits the spirit of the Palms really well. Great names come to the Palms along with many great artists who prefer a smaller, more intimate venue.
I work with a band, so I see a lot of clubs, theatres, and dancehalls. The Palms Playhouse is my favorite! It's a beautiful old building with a great staff.
In 1999, new ownership completely gutted the dilapidated old club and created the fun and friendly whacked-out atmosphere that, along with an enlarged first-rate music calendar, keeps the crowds coming in droves. PowerHouse Pub
