A gem of a place. Eat there once a month! Food is great. Staff are friendly and helpful. Wonderful family owned restaurant. Highly recommended Elk Grove restaurant where real fresh food is cooked and served.

the staff is amazing. if yOu've never been, just meeting them is wOrth it. yOu'll be back just fOr the sense of appreciatiOn and the sincerity yOu get frOm them. the fOod speaks fOr itself. a real, gOod WHOLESOME place. there aren't enOugh like it any mOre!

This little jewel is THE BEST Italian restaurant for authentic Italian food. Whenever I go, I feel like I'm going over to a dear friend's house for dinner. Giovanni, his family and staff are so incredibly accommodating and friendly. You are greeted at the door with the respect of a true Italian family and waited on with the ultimate in service. Not to mention, the food is sublime, melt in your mouth goodness! It is what any great restaurant could only aspire to.

This restaurant for "real Italian food" is the best in the region! No other restaurants even compare !!! Giovanni and staff are always eager to give you the best service possible! Ahh, and the food - OMG! Squisito! I crave it all the time. I love the expansion of the new bar - very beautiful!

Two Fridays ago I wanted their wonderful salmon. I was disappointed it wasn't on that nights menu until I tasted their delicious halibut with light lemon caper cream sauce.
You are greeted with smiles, hugs, and the ladies are even shown respect with a kiss on the hand. I haven't had a mediocre meal any time we have visited.

Two of the best restaurant meals we have eaten in Elk Grove were the two times we went to Palermo's. They have it all - delicious Italian food, great service, and a warm homey ambiance. I highly recommend Palermo's.

Elk Grove is so blessed to have not only this fablous resturant, but the family that makes this well oiled machine run, is one of the most lovimg caring down to earth family you have ever met. I have been a fan of Palermo since my first visit in 1998. Flat out the most exquisite italian resturant I have found. You have to appreciate an established family owned and operated resturant like this one.

Simply put, the best Italian Food in Northern California. I have gone way out of my way to visit Giovanni Senior and Junior and sample some of the best italian food I have ever found. Do yourself a favor and join the Palermos family.
