Our Furry Friends Training Center helped me to handle my Labrador retriever puppy when I was clueless as a new dog owner. Cherie was patient with my pup and with me also. As a new dog owner I needed to learn to "read" my dog's communication skills. Cherie definitely approaches training with "respect and understand" for both pet and owner. We still occassionally participate in puppy play groups and have a great time.

Our Furry Friends offers so many amazing programs for my dogs and me. There is such a variety and numerous teachers to chose from. I especially love the Canine Freestyle classes with Judy from Dogs Can Dance. I also have learned a great deal from Jamie at the First Aid class.

Cherie Maitland has taught my dogs to have "good manners" and has taught my family how to teach them at everyday problems as well. I enjoy all of the classes cherie has (puppy kindergarden, good manners, & the play groups) its nice to meet all the dogs and there owners too! I strongly recommend Cherie she is the BEST!!

I have two very active wheaton terriers. When I first started training with Cherie and Our Furry Friends my arms were black and blue to the elbows with puppy bites. With Cheries's help I've learned to control my active dogs and now enjoy taking them for walks downtown on busy weekend days with no worries about their behavior. They meet and greet all kinds of people and actually get compliments on how well behaved they are. I now really enjoy my dogs!!

Cherie has the knowledge and experience to create efffective, individualized, training and behavior modification programs. Her classes are small and handler/dog teams receive a lot of one on one attention. The focus is on developing a lasting bond between dog and owner as well as on skill development. Also on having fun!

The training is professional yet caring; Cheri's Puppy Kindergarten class was a great way to start out my new pup. He still responds to word commands taught in this class.

Working with Cherie has been a positive influence on our family. Her center has much to offer involved dog owners. With our young Aussie, we've taken many classes there (manners, rally, agility, freestyle, massage, first aid, play groups...) where we've met both terrific dogs and people while learning and having fun--a winning combination! Cherie has unique insight into each dog she works with identifying strengths, needs, and motivation. Also she brings in other talented trainers to share expertise. I have been attending classes at Our Furry Friends Training Center for two years with my 2 English Mastiffs. I am a better owner because I have been given the tools to know how to deal with real life situations and not just the standard "sit" and "roll over" type commands. You won't be disappointed, and you may even make some great friends. Your dogs will have a great time too!

At Our Furry Friends, the trainer treats dogs with great respect, teaching them with praise and treats, never harsh voice or punishment. Our dogs liked her immediately and responded to the training techniques. Those of us who feel our dogs are part of the family really appreciate the gentle methods.

We have five dogs, a lab, a bassett, and three mini snchauzers all of who have been trained at Our Furry Friends. We have worked with Cherie Maitland for nearly three years and previously with her new trainer, Alan St. Andrew. We have the most amazing animals. The make our lives so wonderful and every person who meets our dogs are so impressed by the good behavior and many of the skills they have learned, agility, rally obedience, obedience, dogs-can-dance, paws 4 fitness and most recently practicing for their good citizenship award from AKC.

Cherie is the best trainer you could ask for, when I decided to go I have a dog that has been abused and is very scared of strangers, by the time we were done with the classes he is a much better dog, There is so much compassion and Cherie gives it to everyone! She makes you feel like you are her only student. I have recomended Cherie to numerous people, she's the BEST

Cherie Maitland of Our Furry Friends Training Center has been an excellent trainer for my now 6 month old mini schnauzer. He is a well mannered, well behaved little guy who is a joy to be around...thanks to Cherie. I have been extremely pleased with her training techniques and how much the animals love pleasing her. I have had dogs all my life and had many trainers. I can honestly say that Cherie is right up there with the very best. SHE DESERVES TO BE THE WINNER.

I am very pleased with the training and guidance I've received from Cheri. She has really helped me with my dog who had some leash aggression.With Cheri"s training and open play groups she is a completely different dog. I would recommend her to everyone.

Cheri is a great trainer and really knows how to get your dog motivated to learn. She is well versed in animal psychology and uses positive rewards to help you teach your pet good behavior. I enjoyed working with her and found her approach both effective and FUN! I recommend her to everyone I know who either has a new puppy or has a dog that has some issues. Everyone just loves her!
