I live in West Sacramento, having relocated here from Monterey County. I am impressed with the quality of the produce at Nugget Markets, especially the one in West Sacramento at the Town Center at Lake Washington and Jefferson Blvds. The store is always clean, uncluttered, and the deli is wonderful. I've even found some cute gifts whilst shopping which I hadn't seen elsewhere. The liquor department is REALLY well stocked (even has Blue Ice Vodka, a potato vodka made in America). But I really appreciate the cold beverage section where one can pick up chilled 12-backs of soda! That's a very nice touch.
We have been waiting patiently for the El Dorado Hills Nuggets to open and we were not disappointed. Everyone, yes, everyone is very helpful and the food choices are fabulous! Be sure to check out this new store for all the beautiful decorations, never saw a grocery store this gorgeous before.
Selection and quality that can't be beat... Good people - it was a great place to work when I was in high school in the early 70's and the current crop of folks still seem to be having a good time...
A wonderful place to shop. The staff are so friendly and happy ... a refreshing change from hearing employees openly complain about their lousy benefits at another nearby market. I love the fact that Nugget makes the list of best employers nationwide, too. Top quality grocery store.
They have everything! The best selection of cheeses in the area. Great selections of wine, olives, chocolate and deli items. They have good prices on regular groceries. THey have a great take-out and bakery sections...
I am so impressed with the presentation of the produce and breads to name a few things. I had lunch in the deli and the sandwich was fantastic. It's clean and I like the whole atmosphere and the people who wait on you.
The most amazing selections of everything, from wines, to cheese, to organic cleaning supplies! I could wander through a store for hours! Also, they hire the best people, friendly and knowledgeable. I do all my shopping at Nugget!
I just moved here from Florida and was thrilled to find a gem like Nugget. They always have the freshest food and the staff is incredibly nice. It has a small town feel to it and I look forward to grocery shopping. Thanks guys.
Nugget Markets should be added to a few categories. They have a great bakery and a awesome wine selection. They have just began to enter the Sacramento market. They have the greatest associates in their stores. I can always count on a great selection of gourmet items, great wine selection with experienced wine stewards and the bakery is awesome.
