I have been a regular ever since they opened over 3 years ago. The food is always freshly cooked, the staff is always friendly and ready to make the meal memorable and the decor is very pleasant. We always start the meal with a big bowl of Tom Yum Soup followed by Keaw Wan/chicken (my favorite) , red curry (my son's favorite) and Eggplant Khee Mao with vegetables (my mom's favorite) and Pad Thai. Lately we have been trying other dishes, such as Prik King Tofu which is absolutely delicious. We have found that if you like spice but on the milder side, make sure you specify mild because medium can be very spicy. The family eats here at least once a week. Their lunches are very good and filling. Don't miss eating here because you will not regret it.

The first (of probably 20+) times I came in to Muang Thai was a fluke. It's easy to drive past. I had been looking for years for a place to bring my girlfriend that showcased authentic, delicious Thai food. The search was over. This place is GLORIOUS.
I can give this place no higher compliment than that eating here is just like eating at home with meals cooked by my mother, if only my mother had access to fresh restaurant-quality ingredients and brought her A game to the kitchen every night of the week.
This stuff is authentic with a capital A. The food you get here is the same food you would be served at a restaurant in Bangkok, except you can have it right here in Sac. The only way this food could be more authentic is if they charged you $0.75 for your meal and made you sit on plastic stools.
For those of you that don't like the heat, Muang Thai will do something for you called "Mild Plus". They put in just enough chili so that you get the complete flavor profile, but not so much that you get a burn. It's only a matter of time before other Thai restaurants catch on to this, or at least I hope so.
If you love Thai food, go here! If you don't like Thai food, go here too! You probably don't like Thai food because you've never had the real thing. Well, here's your chance.

I love this place!!! I can't ever seem to get enough of this place. We've tried so many thai restraunt all around the area,and this is the only one me and my family keep coming back to time after time.The dishes are tasty and authentic(especially the chicken red curry!) The athmospher is pleasant as well as the staff. They very welcoming and gracious. They even at times teach us the language. (That my husband forgot)

Wow! We went there with the Entertainment Book coupon and were blown away. The food was incredible and the service genuine. I am so glad we tried it and I can't wait to go back and try all the many dishes! Thank you!

Muang Thai has to be one of the best Thai food restaurants around. My wife and I love Thai food and have tried many different restaurants. Muang Thai has a wonderful, open, and welcoming atmosphere. The food is outstanding. The Panang Salmon is the best in town. All of the dishes we've tried there have been winners. This is one of our favorite restaurants. You'll love it too!

Excellent and the best Authentic Thai food in Sacramento. Inside is very well decorated and clean. The service is always nice and friendly. I am so happy I found this restaurant. A++++

This restaurant is completely wonderful. They serve fabulous Thai food that you typically don't find outside of the Bay Area. Now we have a source of excellent Thai food here in the Roseville area.

Thai food is one of my favorite types of cuisine but I never thought I'd find a good restaurant in the Sacramento area. My husband and I had lunch here yesterday and the food was great. We ordered BBQ Chicken, Darling Mango, and Pineapple Fried rice. My husband mentioned how refreshing it was to finally find a Thai restaurant in Sac that actually knew how to cook something as basic as BBQ Chicken. The Darling Mango was delicious. I'm glad we opted for mild spiciness because it was already hot for me. I wish the Pineapple Fried rice had more pineapple in it and cut into smaller chunks. I would go to this place again and again.
