We teach Karate to kids and Discipline is our #1 goal. Allow your child to participate in a great exercise program developed for kids to build the fundamentals needed to excel in any sport they participate in. This place is great. I have made more friends that are awesome. Im working my way up to becoming a junior instructor. I help with the kids class, and we have so much fun. I love it there because I can be taught by awesome black belts. My cousin is a black belt. He is the best teacher someone could ask for. Moore's Karate School is the Best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have been around Martial Arts for a long time. I have seen what is out there and I have not came across anything better then Moore's Shou Shu!! This is N0T Disney Land Karate!
My 4 year old son started last year and loves it. Liborio has a superb and unique teaching method. He does not teach just karate, he teaches the importance of discipline, hard work, respect and dedication. He has encouraged a few of the teenage students to become instructors for the younger classes. It is great to watch the interaction between them and the children. We love the atmosphere and being a part of the Moore's Karate family.

You guys are the best! My four-year-old is saying, "Yes, sir/mam," left and right. In just about 4 weeks, he's gained so much confidence in his coordination! And he can't talk about Ms. Marissa!! We go over the 7 Habits on a daily basis now. "What would Shun Shifu Vargas want you to do?!" Amazing!
Moore's is great for true self defence, the best I've ever seen. I've never seen a school that trains as much on multiple oponents and real life street situations. If it doesn't work, Moore's doesn't teach it. Do you want to be sold a belt, or earn it with hard work? Do you want to win a trophy, or kick the crap out of some scumbag that tries to victimize you?
Another strong tool that Mr. Vargas teaches at the school is that you can't always walk away. Sometimes you won't be able to turn the other cheek.. sometime you just might have to use what you've learned. And that too is ok! Who else will teach these bullies in life that its not ok to do what they do.
I originally signed my kids up to learn how to defend themselves in this day and age. I had no clue my children would gain so much more. Their confidence, assertiveness, self-awareness, physical being.. has all improved more than I could have ever imagined.. more than any seasonal sports could ever offer. Moore's Karate offers more than martial arts, it offers life long lessons. You have nothing to lose by coming in for their 1-free week of classes. Come by and see for yourself.
My 8yr old son is a high orange belt and absolutlely loves their program. They don't just hand out belts just because you come in all the time, belts come with time,dedication,practice. What better life lesson to teach a child, that with hard work anything is possible. Who wants to just be given things in life, there is more of a sense of pride and accomplishment when things are earned through hard work. With Moore's this old addage still exist...THANK YOU!
