Great shop, great atmosphere, great artists. There is not a person at Modern Body who is not a top artist or an awesome imaginary genius. Definitley a great shop due to a colaboration of minds.

What a great place to get work done! I've gone here for years and I've NEVER had a bad experience. Great art comes out of here, inking or piercing. No attitudes...just art, the way a tattoo shop should be. Love Love Love this place!!!

Hands down the best shop around I have found. They are courteous, funny, and always make you feel welcome even if it's your first time in. The artists are amazing, always professional, and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. Alycia has been my artist for almost three years now and I am always being complemented on her work. She has done both my arms, my back and soon to be legs. I can honestly say if she isn't the one inking me no one will be. She has always been straight up about what she can and can't do even if I didn't particularly like to hear it so I have nothing but respect for her abilities and honesty as an artist. I have also had the pleasure of being pierced by Russ and would do it again in a heart beat. Seriously the best shop I have been to where the art and your satisfaction with the way it turns out seems to always be at the top of their priority list. I would highly recommend it to anyone and in fact I do to everyone looking to get inked by great artists.

Awesome atmosphere, great artists. Dave Barnitz has completed 1 arm sleeve and is currently 80% done with my other arm, and I have plans to get more work done by him. There is no other shop to go to!

I love Modern Body, they run a really friendly atmosphere and I feel at home everytime I just stop in for a visit. I wouldn't have anyone else but Russ or Melissa for my piercings! :]

Modern Body is one of the best tattoo shops in Sacramento. Olde Tyme Tattoo had to give props to y'all over there. You rock, your'e awesome and just plain cool artist with tons of talent!!!
