Any time I want to buy someone something special, this is the shop I go too! Everyone is always amazed by the gift. The Metal Dragonfly carries gifts like no other. The shop is peaceful, beautiful, and down to earth. AND- it doesn't cost an arm & a leg, the prices are very reasonable!

I love nature and Metal Dragonfly has lots of unusual items connected with nature. Always find something for myself or for a gift. Plus it is just a pleasant place to walk around with nice music in the background, lovely scents and Carol always willing to share ideas.

This is my go-to place when I'm looking for a beautiful, unique gift for others (or myself!) They have wonderful items, beautifully displayed, at reasonable prices. I just bought a lovely bird feeder for my mother, a wind chime for myself, and some Vance Kitira candles (they are the best!). On the rare occasions when I don't find something that tempts me to buy, I simply enjoy the experience of browsing in such an attractive store in pretty downtown Placerville.
