The Magic Circle Theatre was formed in 1987 as a non-profit organization to bring top quality live theatre to the greater Roseville community. Under the organization and guidance of Bob and Rosemarie Gerould, with a terrific staff and tremendous community support, Magic Circle has grown to offer multiple outstanding productions each year, as well as various educational Workshops that give area youth an unparalleled opportunity to explore the arts and expand their horizons. Magic Circle Theatre has demonstrated a strong commitment to enhancing the arts in the community. In return, Magic Circle has enjoyed an ever growing base of support from all the wonderful people in Roseville and beyond who embrace the arts in their lives and who know how important keeping them alive in our hearts and communities remains!

As a season Ticket holder (ten years) and volunteer for the theater (House Manager), I can say I have need enjoyed so many excellent shows as I have at Magic Circle. Being a volunteer member of the theater is as being a family. Bob and Rosemarie Gerould, the founder of the Theater, is the perfect example of people that love the Theater. California and Roseville owes much to Bob and Rosemaire and the cast of Magic Circle Theater.

I have seen many shows here, and they are all top quality, easily comparable to what is on Broadway! I have especially been impressed with the high quality of singing talent. I have also auditioned at MCT and the owners and other staff members have always been extremely nice, helpful, and professional, going out of their way to make it a pleasant experience for the actors trying out.

As a former staff member and continued patron and friend since the theatre's inception, I can honestly say that this family of people loves their job of bringing entertainment and joy to everyone they touch. I hope they continue for another twenty years!

This group deserves to win. From a mom and pop community theatre to the Second Largest community theater in California. Bob and Ro are amazing!!! Do not miss out on the Magic Circle Theatre!

Enjoyable, yet mediocre theatre! Tickets are slightly over-priced for the quality of shows they present on a regular basis and yet occasionally they can really shine. But it is more "miss" than "hit".
