Each artist has a portfolio on the front counter and we have a large library of categorized images to browse through as well as several racks of flash designs to inspire you.

Bill recommended a former member of the shop for my daughters first tattoo when she was 16. He lived in Nevada. We drove there for my daughters first tattoo. He raved about Bill. I got my first tattoo from Bill at the age of 53. I am now 59 and he is still doing work on me, and will continue to do so as long as he is in the business. Professional, knows his art and what looks good and what doesn't. I recommend him to anyone

My wife and I both got our first tattoos at Liberty. We shopped around, but knew we liked the environment the moment we walked in the door. It's clean and calm. The artists are personable and professional and their artwork is outstanding.

A few years ago I met Bill LIberty at the Sacramento Tattoo Festival. When I asked why he wasn't tattooing in his booth like most others, he commented that he tattoos in his shop - an environment that he knows is clean and sterile and equipped for tattooing. Right off the bat I was impressed. Over the last few years (and tattoos) I came to know Bill as a man of integrity -- a man with standards in an industry that doesn't have many. A man that won't tattoo your face, he won't tattoo racial or gang insignia, a man that makes sure that in 20-years you aren't going to look in the mirror and ask yourself, "What was I thinking? Why didn't anyone stop me?" In it for nothing but the joy of tattooing, Bill Liberty is the only person I will let tattoo me. Tattooing is such a personal experience and you want nothing but the best -- a clean shop with someone that cares about the ink that you are going to have for the rest of your life. Bill has done my last few tats, and will continue to do so for as long as he is in the business. He truly is a man of integrity. And his work is amazing.

…..at a time where tattooing has become a fad to most, you really need to look around at who has been doing this type of art for the longest. Bill has 30 plus years of perfection and it shows in every tattoo he does. Bill is a visionary, like Heidi and Jen and their work is close to perfection. The entire staff including Lori, Bill’s wife, makes Liberty Tattoo what they are, which is the greatest shop around. What they are not is a fly-by-night tattoo shop in the area that has a bunch of kids wanting to join the fad. They are great artists with vision with a thorough understanding of tattooing.
I have gone to other shops in the area in the past, but have been going to Bill for a few years now and would not go elsewhere. The combination of his 30 plus years of experience, vision and true genuine great human being, makes the decision to go to him an easy one.

If you want the best....you go to the best. In addition to the fabulous artwork...Bill and Lori are two of the nicest folks that you will ever meet. Bill...I still remember our "trivia" talks . We pretty much discussed everything from movies to WWII submarines....and beyond. Great fun! Best Wishes.

I have been tattood in a number of different places in the US and Canada, and I have never seen any work better than Bill Liberty's. He is an incredible artist. When I moved to Sacramento I looked for the best artist I could find. Needless to say I have spent many hours with Bill at Liberty Tattoo. I have referred people there and everyone has not only got great tattoos, but had a very positive experience. Bill and Lori, Jen and Heidi all contribute to a welcoming and relaxed "no attitude" environment and their art is outstanding. What more could you ask for? If you are considering your first small tattoo or a multi sitting piece, this is the only place to go.

You'll not find a more experienced, talented or friendly group of artists in town.
Their shop is impeccably clean and inviting.
A very comfortable environment.
They're perfect not only for the person looking to get their first tattoo, but also those looking to add to their collection.
I wouldn't feel comfortable having anyone but the folks at Liberty Tattoo work on me. In fact, I'm already planning for my next tattoo!
They are in a word, simply the "BEST".

Liberty Tattoo is an amazing place to have tattoo work done. Bill, Jen, and Heidi all do fantastic work. I even had my back piece show up in a tattoo magazine recently. Congratulations Bill!

Liberty Tattoo is the only place in town. The entire staff is friendly and professional. The only place I will go for my tattoos. Take a look at his work and his shop. Bill is an awesome artist, along with Jen and Heidi. I love you guys! (Lori and Tanya too!)
