Very unique friendly neighborhood restaurant with great food at reasonable prices. The half soup-half pasta lunch specials are the best! My favorite is the spinach ricotta gnochhi.

La Trattoria has easily become my favorite restaurant in Sacramento. The indoor atmosphere is small and cozy, while the outdoor patio makes you feel like you're in Europe. The service at La Trattoria is excellent. Everyone is very friendly and it is obvious that they work hard to give you a wonderful dining experience. The food has a homemade quality that makes you craving for more. I recommend trying everything on the menu, even if it is unfamiliar. You'll love it!

Ingredients are always fresh By far, the best sandwich & pizza in town. Everything is obviously home made, including the amazing bread. It's great to be able to wash it all down with a very rare selection of beers on tap.

Neighborhood feeling. Excellent European food, amazing European tap beer, fair prices--The only surprise is when you leave the restaurant and you are on J Street and not in Europe!

The food is excellent, the atmosphere jovial and comfortable, and the prices reasonable. But you should have a Czech food category because La Trattoria's Czech food is excellent, too!

Simply the best. The food is to die for and it is so good, we ate there 3 times last week. Twice for dinner, once for breakfast!

My wife's parents are Czech, and we took them here for dinner one week ago. My wife and I each had the Raviolis, while the two of them stuck with what they knew, the Paprikash and Schnitzel. That night we were the model table, taking advantage of the loveliest of unions, Czech and Italian cuisine that's made-to-order.

La Trattoria Bohemia is the best because:
1. The food is excellent. My favorites are the Bohemian potato pancakes and the torta di ricotta. I've been eating there since it opened in 2000 and never had a bad meal. 2. Great Service and friendly staff. 3. This restaurant is one of the cleanest I know of.
