KSSJ is one of the RARE radio stations that you can listen to with your kids in the car...and not worried they are going to hear something and repeat it later and embarrass you! Good job KSSJ! My kids LOVE your music....and I have learned so much more about Jazz over the years.....
Enjoy the artists that are featured and the fact it is "Smooooth" jazz vs hot. DJ's are as cool as the music they play, and more frequently, since they don't over-do the chatter factor; other FM hosts obviously reflect that the listening is very naturally all about them.......94.7 selections are just what their appreciative audience prefers. They follow up by hosting a good number of popular concerts and their Sample CD sales that benefit the local area can be relied upon to contain a great variety of our jazz favorites.

Jazz is the one of the original forms of music that is American. KSSJ is a fun station that have shared their resources with the community with their participation in many of the charity events. The music is smooth and enjoyable that the whole family could listen to.
Only jazz in the area on a full time basis. Moved up from Bay Area where we had 2 stations available for along time. KSSJ has good music and DJ's and the concerts they put on are great.
It reminds me of the smooth jazz radio station that I used to listen to before we moved from Northern Virginia over a year ago. I swear that I am back there listening to the same people playing the same music. Smooth jazz is my meditation.
I'm a smooth jazz musician and love the varity of smooth jazz music that KSSJ plays. Some day I hope to hear myself on KSSJ, then I'll know I have arrived.
Goes without saying that Jazz is music with a feeling/Life of it's own, it fills the void often left unchecked in this world, Love. The station delivers the same weather, news, traffic as the others, without the Screeming DJ's, offensive language, or comercials that ask you to switch.
