We are a yarn shop that has a wide variety of yarns to fit every budget. We offer a huge teaching schedule, and love to bring in new people to learn how to knit and crochet. Classes are only $10.00/hour and private lessons are $20.00/hour.
We are a full service shop, which offers products, knitters to hire, blocking and finishing services. We even make custom made socks. If you've got a variety of sock yarn in your stash, bring it in and get some custom-made socks just for you.
We are a friendly shop, which offers help when you need it. We have a very experienced staff, with 15 years average. So no matter what your question is, we are sure to be able to help. You are welcome to join us any time the shop is open to sit and relax in this friendly atmosphere.
Shipments arrive daily so our stock is continually changing. We even do special orders.
We'd love to have you join us, enjoy our classes and see what knitting & crochet is all about.

Been going to Knitique since the day it opened. Even now that I live 3000 miles away it is one of my very first stops when I get back to Elk Grove to visit! They are the best!

Knitique is the best local knit shop. The classes and teachers excel in their teaching skills. I also enjoy all the samples they have in the shop...great for inspiration. Excellent selection of patterns and books.

Danielle and staff are fun, positive, helpful and experts at what they do! They also have a beautiful, homey shop and it is great when I get to sit around the table with all of the knitters!

Danielle and the girls are the best. They remember your name everytime you come in and they will help you with anything! I've been going for years and will travel from Placerville (used to be Pollock Pines) to Elk Grove just to go see them!

This shop's customers are like a family. Even if you're a new customer - go in a few times and you will be like family, too. Danielle and the Knitique girls are all warm and welcoming not to mention knowledgeable. Wonderful, wonderful shop!

They are awesome!!! They can help you create anything and give you the courage and knowledge to do so. Plus if you are stuck you can walk in and they can "save" you!!!!
