We enjoy being creative and encourage you to do the same. It is recommended orders be placed 2-3 days in advance. Larger orders will take more lead-time, please plan accordingly.

We are located in historic Old Town Folsom, at the corner of Leidesdorff Street and Gold Lake Drive near the Lake Natoma Inn and just across the parking lot from Light Rail.
Just off the American River Bike Trail at Lake Natoma and the new Folsom bridge, we offer a perfect refueling stop for your outing.

It does not get any better than Karen's! You can taste the perfection in everything that you eat. The light hearted atmosphere, friendly staff and incredible desserts.....who could ask for anything more?

The food is very good. Breakfast or lunch both have some very good selections, very different from the "same old" standards at some places.
Warning though... In the morning, the place is OVER-RUN with literally dozens of bicyclers in spandex, mostly older and even elderly... God bless them for getting some exercise, but do they have to wear spandex in a restaurant??? Kinda creepy to see all that!!!

Karen's is my Cheers...where somebody always knows my name. The food choices are a culinary experience, the staff happily serves, and the desserts are heavenly.

Its hard to beat the quality of the food and atmosphere at Karen's. Everything is fresh and the staff is friendly. I especially love the Salmon Pasta Salad with edamame and the Oat Jacks, yum. I've also been to a couple of events that she's catered and was impressed with her creative approach to food and presentation. Karen's...one of my favs!

My mom and i go to lunch at karens on a regular basis. The food is to die for, the service is exquisite and the patio is the best on a sunny day. Never leave with out a home made hoho.

Karen's Bakery and Cafe has become a Folsom tradition and landmark. The food is fantastic, the service is friendly and the general atmosphere is relaxing. Breakfast is GREAT and lunch is even better!

No one cares about ingredients more than Karen's Bakery. I once asked for more whipped cream, and she came out with a pastry bag the size of a cannon and squirted a mountain of beautiful cream spirals on my pear tart.

Karen is awesome her cakes are not only the best I've ever tasted but they are unique and beautiful, she will customize it to be exactly what you always imagined and more!
