Japan Auto Care is a family owned business servicing the Greater Sacramento area for 20 years, having opened their doors in 1990 on Main Ave in Orangevale. In 2009 Japan Auto Care relocated to a more convenient location around the corner to 9280 Greenback Lane, just west of Walnut Ave. on the south side of the street across from the Dairy Queen.
Jack Knoester, the owner with over 38 years of automotive experience himself, decided the Orangevale / Folsom area needed a Japanese Automotive Specialist. He teamed up with a staff of professionally trained technicians to open what is, to this day, still the only independent auto repair shop specializing in Asian auto repair and service in his area. The goal at Japan Auto Care is to provide the best quality service at the best value for its customers. Japan Auto Care is a friendly, clean and efficient facility. They understand that sometimes car repair can be stressful. Everything possible is done to make you feel welcome, comfortable and satisfied with your service experience. They understand how busy you are, so we offer appointments set to your schedule, getting you back on the road as quickly as possible, with most repairs completed that same day.
