We have really enjoyed discoverig the Sierra wines. The Irish Family Vineyards make you feel part of the Family. Additionally, their wines are wonderful. Our hands-down favorite is the tempranillo.
Wonderful wines! Relaxing environment and best of all - great family wine business where everyone is involved in making the winery a place to visit where you feel like you are part of the family! Especially love the Blarney White and several of their terrific reds!
Their wines have a balance of taste across line and were even able to make a premier label in De Ireys. Also, they are truly a family winery and treat you as a member of the their family.
There are many fine wineries there in the Sierra Foothills. Irish Family Vineyards is one of the first we visited when visiting our friends in Arnold. We now belong to the "Wine Club" of two, Irish and Stenvenot. We have visited many more on our frequent trips to see our friends.
Irish is kind of like some of the smaller "user friendly" wineries we have known for many years here in the S.F. Bay area. So it is top on our list for your area for now.
Irish Vineyards has outstanding wines!. Russ knows exactly when the grapes need to be picked and is a master of creating just the right blends. I love the Kilkenny and Blarney Reds!
