Dave Lynch - Owner, Instructor, Master Craftsman - has honed his skills for over 37 years in guitar performance and music composition. And with over 34 years in guitar repair, constructionÊand modification, Dave has come to be known as the "Guitar Guru of Sacramento." Dave attended the prestigious Berklee College of Music, Boston, and is a two-time recipient of the Sacramento Sammie Award in the "Best Jazz Musician" category. He has spent over 40 years mastering the art of the guitar. He frequently performs with his band The Dave Lynch Group in the Sacramento area and has released two CDs, with a third in production.

This guy Dave Lynch really knows his stuff when it comes to guitars. Whether it's building, repairing, playing or teaching, he's an expert in all of it. I'd recommend Guitar Workshop over all the other music stores in the area when it comes to guitar stuff!

From the moment you walk in the door, you are treated like an old friend. Dave Lynch (owner) is exceptionally knowledgeable and a great conversationalist. If interested in lessons, you are bound to find the perfect instructor to suit your needs. As a shy beginner, I felt at ease and inspired in the presence of his talented staff. Whether it's repairs, purchases, or lessons, you cannot go wrong here!
