When my former esthetician left the business I was panicked I would never find another one as good! Then I went to Glow! Valerie is an amazing practitioner who loves what she does and it shows. her warmth and sense of humor make every visit a joy. My skin looks terrific, the lotions and potions are magical and the waxing never seems to hurt! You can't beat that. A day or an hour at Glow is like a restful get-away right here in the city!
October 2006 marked the beginning of 13 months of chaos that anyone who has experienced a divorce can sympathize with. Just as that was getting underway I stumbled upon Glow. It was there that I found an oasis away from the heartache of what I was going through. Not only did I fall in love with the facials and bodywraps but I found a place that for an hour or so I was able to forget my troubles and really, truely relax. I have told Valerie many times how thankful I am to have found mswy little oasis of peace there at Glow.
I absolutely love this place. I ahve been to both owners Valerie and Amy for my eyebrows and I absolutely love their work. Amy does an absolutely fabulous look. She is very personable and just a nice person to talk to as you get pampered. The place is very cute, quiet and they always have the most relaxing music playing. Everything is always clean there and if you want top notch treatment and movie star eyeborws...this is the place to go. Ive also had a brazilian done with amy and it was a lot less painful then other places I have been to and she makes you feel totally comfortable. I reccomend this to anyone who is picky about who touches their face and wants a good job done in waxing that you can truely trust. I walk out of there satisfied everytime
My husband and I start our "special night" with spa treatments and massages at Glow to relax, and we end the evening at the Firehouse with a perfect meal and a few glasses of wine. Glow day spa is friendly and just right for anyone who wants to unwind and look vibrant.
I was in Sacramento last month to see family. As soon as I unpacked my sister brought me to this spa for a facial and short massage. I'm thankful she did because it was exactly what I needed to get over jet lag and start a relaxing vacation. My face and body felt rejuvenated.

By the way, I’ve been wearing a bright colored shirt on the days I get facial peels and re-moisturizing masks from you. You’d be surprised at the attention I get at work after a facial. Glow is a charming little Victorian day spa nestled in the heart of Sacramento. The best thing about this spa are all of the services that are customized to the individual. Providers listen and offer services to meet my needs. They have given both in-spa and at home treatment suggestions that have been really helpful. As I have loyalty to my regular esthetician of another spa for which I won’t name, I don’t let on that I like being papered at Glow. Although I feel guilty saying it, I would recommend Glow for facial and massage treatments. It’s quaint, friendly and inviting.
Until I received my first facial, I thought they were only a girl thing. And I was wrong. There's nothing else I can think of that relaxes me easier. Valerie's professionalism is top notch, she makes me so relaxed I can fall asleep in minutes, and she even takes care of my hairy eyebrows and ears. Thanks much!!!
I travel form Placer County two to three times per month to receive services from Glow Esthetic and Spa Therapies. This day spa is owned and operated by local Sacramento women, Valerie and Amy, who have the tools, skills, and experience to get the job done right. The estheticians and massage therapists are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. They focus on my specific needs while making a real human connection with the me. It’s like going to see a good friend who happens to be able to make you look and feel better.

I stumbled upon Glow Esthetics about a year ago, while strolling around midtown. I was new in town and decided to pop in and check it out. I have had problem skin for most of my mid twenties, so I am no stranger to skin care facilities. Still, Glow in unlike any other spa I had ever been in. The atmosphere is welcoming, comfortable and calm. They carry the best products and offer top of the line services, all in a cozy setting. Valerie is an amazing esthetician who is so kind and incredibly knowledgeable. She has taken my problem skin and improved it drastically. Her treatments go beyond just a facial. She is always available via email or phone for product advice or any other skin related question I have. I look forward to my monthly visits to Glow. There is nowhere else in Sacramento that comes close to being as amazing
