That is funny we were at that same event as dannycate. They told us they had a great time and it was one of the best events they had ever been to! When I talked with cate later she was mad that Function 45 was wouldn't work at a discounted rate. I sense a case of sour grapes....We've seen them 4 times and they have been amazing everytime. We've already book them for 2009. There are plenty of typical DJ companies. Having seen what I consider the top five in the area, FUNCTION 45 is easily at the top!!

Steve, put us at the top of your reference list – you kept every promise you made. Never before have we been at a wedding when the dance floor was packed all night long. It felt like two hours instead of five. Our only regret is that our reception did not last 8 hours – we couldn’t believe how much fun everyone was having, and the way you got everyone up at the beginning with the “sing for your supper” was a big hit- people are still talking about that! The biggest hit of all though was the first dance song and the way you dubbed our voices into it with our messages to each other, not a dry eye in the room, including ours. FANTASTIC!

Let me just preface this by saying that I love Steve! He did my sister's wedding several years ago and when I got engaged I knew that I had to have him. I've been to lots of weddings where the entertainment was average or even a little bit hokey but Steve is very entertaining. He really gets everyone involved and out on the dancefloor. All 200+ guests were out on the dance floor having a great time. Great entertainment is what makes your big day so memorable and Steve is the man for the job. I can't wait for him to do my wedding this year!
I was impressed with him at a friends wedding. we all had to pick a song that had the word love or kiss in it and sing it to the bride and groom. then all night those were the songs that were played. very original. he made the event a great time!
