I was not ready for what I thought I would experience when I walked in the door of the shop! Not ever visiting a tattoo parlor I had no idea what to expect..........boy was I in for a shock. I was was met as I walked in by Ian who was interested in what I wanted to get done! He really made me feel at home, not what I was expecting! He asked me about what I wanted and where............WOW, not a pressure sale! Timpac came out and asked me a few questions and then he started to work on my artwork! After a little research and some sketching he came to me with a drawing.....not exactly what I had in my mind! After some conversation he convinced me that it was the best way for it to be done.......HE WAS RIGHT ON!!!!!! I am so happy with what Tim did and I will be back as soon as I can to get the next one! Thanks guy's for the outstanding service and quality work!
I highly recommend Eland Hogan! He'll tell you if something does'nt work and is great for a first timer. I came back and had too more done. His great looking eyes don't hurt either!
Very honest, dedicated, and passionate tattoo artists... all of them! These guys are in it for the quality of their work, and wont 'bs' you in selling you a tattoo thats gonna look like crap in 2 yrs.

At least there is a shop in this town that takes pride in their work! Thats more than you can say for some places, just tryin to make a buck! You are very lucky to have a shop that will be honest with you, and not put something on your body that doesnt work. You wouldnt tell a Dr how to preform surgery. Forever Tattoo takes their work very serious, as should anyone that is putting something on your body that is FOREVER!
I got my first tat from forever tattoo...thanks Danny Boy! I already have about 5 more lined up and this is the only place I trust to ever get a tattoo done. I only live about an hour away from there but totally worth the drive to have Danny Boy give me a tat.
I have gotten two tattoos at Forever Tattoo, I actually fly all the way from Boston to come see Eiland. The work that he does is outstanding, I wouldn't go anywhere else for a tattoo.
Hands down the best ! The artists are honest and professional, which has kept me coming back. Every visit I have had was very enjoyable. I wouldnt go elsewhere. Tim is in the middle of a beautiful peice for me, and I has a very gentle hand.
My friend got a tattoo here. And they were really nice. The idea he had at first was to small, and just wouldn't work out. So he asked the artist to go look online for him to get another idea, and he did no questions asked. It was a little expensive, but the work is breathtaking. I wouldn't get tattooed anywhere else.
I own Royal Peacock Tattoo Parlor and I personally believe that Brent Patten and Eiland Hogan are some of the top tattoo artists in Sacramento. Forever Tattoo does a lot for tattooing in Sacramento by hosting and helping put on the All American Tattoo Festival every year, and by bringing premier artists from all over the world to tattoo here. I truly believe they should be in the top 5 of this little popularity contest that were having here on the a-list. Not the other 4 scratcher shops that are trying to compete with the Royal Peacock. Hahaha, so many people with bad reviews because they have no idea about a REAL tattoo shop. A real street shop. Good. Go get your tattoo at some smoke shop where they sell t-shirts, pipes and incense. The McDonalds of tattoo shops. Forever Tattoo is what tattooing is suppose to be. Forever Tattoo is the best shop in Sacramento, hands down.
This place is crazy. I felt like i walked into a biker bar. The artist who was to help me WOULDNT do my tattoo. He told me is so many words my idea was dumb, what the hell is that about. Anyways good luck in this place.
my experience, as well as others i have talked to...they are very good at telling potential clients what they CANT do. I am now going elsewhere with my business.
I have had plenty of ink done in Sacramento and I strongly discourage getting tattooed at Forever Tattoo. LOADS of snotty attitude and a deceptive, unprofessional environment (I made an appt with a particular artist, then was told I had to see another artist when I arrived for my appt because my chosen artist was "too busy"). Very expensive for mediocre work...and I ended up with a nasty infection that had to be repaired by a better tattoo artist at another shop.
I had a piece done here about six months ago. I was the last appointment of the day. He sketched up what I had wanted way too small. So I asked if he could make it bigger, he then got an attitude and from then on was a huge jerk. My tattoo isn't that great! I will need to get it fixed in quite a few spots, and not the normal touch up. There are areas where he pressed to hard and it has left scars. I'm sure this place is legit, my artist was just a ****
Hands down the best tattoo shop in Sacramento. Their artists are unbeatable. I've been to just about every shop here in town and the quality of work does not compare to forever. I'll never get inked anywhere else.
This place is definitely the best. I got my first 2 tattoos here and they made me feel so comfortable. I had Danny and he walked me through ever step, I knew exactly what was going on. These guys are definitely friendly and very creative artists. Everyone I know has gone here. I wouldn't go anywhere else.
