Rumors of impending war began to bite into our ticket sales as early as the summer
of 2002. You may not remember all (but will undoubtedly remember some) of these notable highlights from our "belt-tightening" years: A Christmas Story, You Can't Take
It With You, Always... Patsy Cline, Over the River and Through the Woods, Woody Guthrie's American Song, Fully Committed, The Nerd, Long Shadow, My Way:
A Musical Tribute to Frank Sinatra, Noises Off, Evermore, Urinetown, Doubt, The Complete History of America (Abridged), Hamlet, and The SantaLand Diaries.
Not bad work for a theatre company whose operating budget has been gradually
cut by 41% since 2001.

We also mounted the fastest, most successful fundraising drive in FTC history last August, when our Board President announced to the community that we had to raise $90,000 in two weeks, or we would be forced to close our doors. And you - you responded in a style which can only be described as... well... Bedford Falls-ian.

So, to all of you, patrons and friends, we thank you, and we salute you. We're still here, still fighting, and if you'll stick by us through these tough times, we will emerge stronger than ever.
