The Fat Family name has been a part of the Sacramento community since 1939, when Frank Fat's restaurant, the first in the family dynasty, was opened by the late Frank Fat. The restaurant holds the position of being Sacramento's oldest eating establishment still owned and operated by the same family in the same location. The legendary restaurant is located at 806 L Street, adjacent to the State Capitol in downtown Sacramento and has been a second home to governors, senators, members of Congress, lobbyists, and entertainment and sports personalities.
When you dine at Fat's you never have to guess how the food is going to taste because their food is always "Great" and there are no surprises. The only person that would be suprised are the guest that we invite to join us for dining that have never been to their restaurants and once they taste the food they always come back for more...

I love Fats in Folsom because everytime I go there, I feel as though I am part of the family. Marilyn always makes me feel like my needs are of the utmost importance, and because of this I will be a guest for life.
The food is so fresh and prepared to your desire. The food presentation is so beautiful. And great quick service. You never have to wait long to to taste any meal. YUMMY!!
