With the live animals & planetarium, they add great educational value for all visitors. They had the first Challenger Learning Center in Northern California and offer missions for everybody on some Fridays. This is a great museum and I've seen both children & adults learn something new while having fun!
Both the Discovery Museum Gold Rush History Center and Science & Space Center both offer exhibits that are educational & fun (for adults and children alike). The glass floor and real printing press are so neat at the History Center and the animal room at the Science Center is so cool, plus they do animal presentations on most weekends!
