Dedrick's Cheese is Placerville's neighborhood gourmet food store. Located on Historic Main St., tucked back in the courtyard of the Cary House Hotel, you'll find the wonderful aroma of 200+ cheeses, fresh breads, olives, salami, desserts and more as you walk thru the door. Everyday we have new treats to sample, so stop in and temp your taste buds. Need a gift, gourmet foods make any occasion special and our French patissarie boxes complete the look. Our three fine local bakeries supply us with beautiful and tasty desserts that you'll just want to take home. My staff makes shopping easy and they are very knowledgable about the products in the store, especially with the pairings of some of our local wines with our cheese. We can also be found at the wineries pairing cheeses and selling at our many local El Dorado County Farmers Markets.
You can not believe how much fabulous food has been put into this small shop. Great choice for picnic lunch in the foothills while wine tasting.

Wonderful selection of gourmet cheeses, olives, salami, bread, desserts, crackers, and other goodies! And the owner and staff are super helpful and friendly. Be sure to aks what cheeses they are giving sample tastes of that day!

The service is always friendly and if you are scared of a cheese, they will give you a little taste first. There cheese selection is amazing as well as all of the other specialty items they sell: jams, olives, bread, crackers and so much more!
