Dedrick's Cheese is Placerville's neighborhood gourmet food store. Located on Historic Main St., tucked back in the courtyard of the Cary House Hotel, you'll find the wonderful aroma of 200+ cheeses, fresh breads, olives, salami, desserts and more as you walk thru the door. Everyday we have new treats to sample, so stop in and temp your taste buds. Need a gift, gourmet foods make any occasion special and our French patissarie boxes complete the look. Our three fine local bakeries supply us with beautiful and tasty desserts that you'll just want to take home. My staff makes shopping easy and they are very knowledgable about the products in the store, especially with the pairings of some of our local wines with our cheese. We can also be found at the wineries pairing cheeses and selling at our many local El Dorado County Farmers Markets.

After eating brunch at Sweetie Pie's in Placerville (see my review of them) I always stop by Tony Matthews to shop, and then Dedrick's for some scrumptious cheese to take home with me. A delightful store with a great selection and friendly employees.

Dedrick's is a special jewel in downtown Placerville, bringing high quality cheeses to our area. The service is excellent and I can always get help to find the right cheese for the occasion.

This store has a fantastic selection of scrumptious cheeses and many gourmet treats (olives, pesto, pate, breads, desserts, crackers, etc.)The staff is knowledgable and friendly; the prices are competitive, and the products are top quality items you won't find almost anywhere else. If I'm having guests over, or I simply want a treat for myself, Dedrick's is the first place I go shopping!

What an awesome little store. There are cheeses from all over the world as well as a staff who is always knowledgeable and friendly. I try to go there at least once a week. They are terrific!
