Jan and Steve Isaacson founded the Davis Musical Theatre Company (DMTC) in 1984. We are California's longest-running, year-round, amateur musical theater company and produce 10 musicals each year.
I have been a member of the theatre community, both attending and performing in plays and musicals, for about six years now. DMTC not only puts on a great show every time, but they truly do care about the safety and happiness of their cast, crew, and orchestra members. Every individual is treated well, and that family atmosphere really shows in the energy of the performers and the quality of the show!
They provide a great program for children and teens. The quality of the performances are always above expectation. I have heard from many patrons who have attended a performance for the first time expecting it to be a substandard production, and coming out pleasantly suprised. They always comment on returning to see the next production as well.
They do a wonderful job putting on musicals which entertain theatergoers. We have been "patrons" of their efforts and season ticket holders for a long time.
My wife and I have been season ticket holders and subscribers to their funding program for nearly twenty years. We are delighted by their performances and commend the entire staff from the bottom up for the magnificent "job" done with/at each performance.
